[Nautilus-list] Drop shadows in Nautilus or how to use the desktop to something u seless

Just got this crazy idea. Nautilus takes over the desktop
so why not draw drop shadows on it? The window manager
probably have to send hints to Nautilus about the window
placement but from there on it would be simple.

It will look like

 +---------------------------+
 | My Window |\
+---------------------------+\ <- Drop shadow drawn by Nautilus
 | |\
 | |\
 | |\
 | |\
 +---------------------------+\
  \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

If some other window covers parts of the drop shadow it
won't hurt much. It will look like the windows hover above
the background.

Cons..
o Invisible windows must not have drop shadows
    -could look strange..
o Shaped windows must not have drop shadows
-they will sitt on the desktop
(but without shadows from other windows..)
o Windows that bypass window managers will have no drop shadows
-a small window with a big menu will look strange
