Hi Seth,

I'm using my own mutilated version of Slackware - everything is
compiled from source.

Xfree86 4.0.3
gcc 2.95.3
glibc 2.2.2
linux kernel 2.4.2
pentium III 733Mhz

GConf 1.0.0
ORbit 0.5.7
Bonobo 0.37
ammonite 1.0.0
oaf 0.6.5

I've tried running nautilus under gdb, and after all the GConf errors I
get the following message:

Program received signal ?, Unknown signal.
0x40914169 in __sigsuspend (set=0xbfffefe8)
    at ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/sigsuspend.c:54
54 ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/sigsuspend.c: No such file or
directory.

Also, a window pops up saying:

No response to the SaveYourself command. The program may be slow,
stopped or broken. You may wait from it to respond or remove it.

A backtrace reveals:

Also, a window pops up saying:

No response to the SaveYourself command. The program may be slow,
stopped or broken. You may wait for it to respond or remove it.

Waiting results in a pause before the message repeats so I remove it.
Hope that helps!!

          Andrew
