The problem is now fixed in Mandrake mozilla package 0.9.1-2mdk

It appears there is a bug in Mozilla 0.9.1 (and 0.9) when it tries to
reparent embedded component (bug # 83157 on bugzilla.mozilla.org). It
will be fixed in Mozilla 0.9.2
