Sorry, I know it's frustrating. We can't do every feature for 1.0, and this
is one that just didn't make the cut. We're trying to finish 1.0 and make it
reliable so we can go back to adding features again.

Some people who want folders to come first find that using our Sort by Type
feature is a good way to put the folders on top.

That sounds particularly bad. I don't think we've tested much in large
folders full of images. Could you write a bug report about this, please?
