[Nautilus-list] Nautilus doesn't start anymore

howdy,
nautilus is no longer running for me and was wondering if anyone had any
ideas. i'm running RH7.1 with Ximian Gnome and it all was running fine until
i updated some libraries through Ximian's Red Carpet software. i believe i
updated a GTK package and a few others, but i'm not sure which ones are
relevant to graphics. anyway, if i goto a virtual terminal, i see warnings
like:

Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_signal_disconnect_by_data(): could not find handler

(II) NEOMAGIC(0): Not programming shadow registers
GetModeLine - scrn: 0 clock: 56300
GetModeLine - hdsp: 800 hbeg: 832 hend: 896 httl: 1048 vdsp: 600 vbeg: 601
vend: 604 vttl: 631 flags: 5

.... and a bunch of other GetModeLine info.
anyone have any ideas?
