Hey Luis, > There used to be something much simpler, but I can't find it now. I > may have been thinking of Cowbell, though Cowbell development seems to > have stopped. Cowbell development has mostly slowed because I consider it pretty much feature complete. If you have anything that you'd like to see, let me know or file an enhancement bug under Gnome bugzilla. > (It would be awesome if Cowbell hooked into my Muine album DB so that > I didn't have to pick files off the hard drive, if there happen to be > any Cowbell developers here ;) Well, if you use the inotify plugin for Muine, you can simply Drag and Drop songs from it into Cowbell, make your edits and hit save. The skies will then open up, a warm glow will descend on you and angels will sing from the heavens. Tseng extols the virtues of this seamless integration in his article entitled "Muine's Best Friend" (http://blog.brandonhale.us/articles/2005/07/17/muine%E2%80% 99s-best-friend). > Thanks! I'm an Ubuntu user at the moment though. Oh yeah, and the venerable Sebastian Dröge (slomo) has been incredibly diligent in packaging Cowbell in Ubuntu and Debian since pretty much day one, so bringing a little more cowbell into your life is just an apt-get away. For reference, Cowbell's website is located at http://more-cowbell.org, and its Bugzilla component is simply "cowbell". Cheers, -Brad -- Brad Taylor Genome Software LLC http://www.getcoded.net
