I haven't been able to find anything in the Mono libraries that allows
you to check if a character is, say, alphanumeric: the whole
g_unichar_is* series. And then, I haven't been able to find an
equivalent of g_utf8_collate_key either .. basically most of the
functions in gunicode.h don't seem to have a mono equivalent.
