Contributions Summary:
My name is Mario Sanchez Prada, I'm the current maintainer of the 'frogr' project[1] and a member of the
GNOME Foundation since January 2011, my msanchez gnome org email address is actually an alias for mariospr
gmail com.
See a list of my main contributions below:
* Lead developer of Frogr [1], a small GNOME application for uploading pictures to flickr. Released 2-3
different versions since 2015/01/08 (from 1.0 and 1.1/1.2, which were fairly similar)[2] and even got some
regular and active users in the way (around ~8253 in total now, ~3000 more than in January 2013). Yes, some
people are still using Flickr in 2017, not just me. It's actually a thing :-)
* No longer a regularly active member of the WebKitGTK+ team, but still contributed there with reviews to
accessibility patches, and with actual patches where needed, as part of my job as the downstream maintainer
of WebKit for Endless OS. I also participated in the WebKitGTK+ Hackfest on December 2015, and planning to
attend the next one, so not a complete outsider yet. See [3] for details.
* Contributed to a few GNOME projects here and there during this period as part of my job in Endless, such as
the glib[4], control center[5], rhythmbox[6] or gnome-software[7], and I expect to have more opportunities to
contribute to the GNOME project in the future as part of my day job.
* Last, I've lately got involved on flatpak[8][9][10] (and a small bit on OSTree[11]) which, while I realize
they're not GNOME projects strictly speaking, I hope it might count a bit too towars me maintaining my
membership.
Last, I'd just like to say that I'd love to keep being member even if the time I can devote to the project in
my spare time is fairly limited, since I should be able to keep contributing to GNOME in a way or another in
the future, either by means of my job (which is fairly related to GNOME anyway) or through more personal
projects, such as frogr.
Thanks for considering me for renewal,
Mario
