I've been getting the GTK2 version of Adwaita into shape, whilst updating it's look to match the GTK3 version 
as much as possible. Currently most of the work was done behind the scenes, mainly styling fixes and cleanups 
(which are much bigger changes than it might seem, the gtkrc was a mess), the colours were updated, a handful 
of annoying bugs were fixed and some visuals were updated. Right now I'm in the process of cleaning and 
vectorizing the assets, so that they can be edited easier. The visual updates of the assets are waiting for 
the 3.20 changes to be finalized, but the new checkboxes and radios, from the GTK3 theme and the symbolic 
icon theme are already used.

I am not an existing Foundation member and I have not contributed to it in the past. Before the above work my 
contributions to GNOME were mainly bug reports. I've used GNOME as my main desktop environment since 3.14.
