Full Name: Mario Sanchez Prada
Email: msanchez AT gnome.org
Contributions Summary:
* Lead developer of Frogr [1], a small GNOME application for uploading pictures to flickr. Released 5
different versions since 2011/01/13 (from 0.4 to 0.8) and even got some regular and active users (around
~2200) in the way.
* Member of the WebKitGTK+ team, mainly contributing to accessibility related code (improving ATK support in
WebKitGTK+, see [2]) and to the the implementation of the new API based in WebKit2 [3]. Also, and more
specifically, I've worked in enabling accessibility in WebKit2GTK+ based applications too [4], and
participated in all the WebKitGTK+ Hackfests up to date, both as atendee and as part of the organization team
(see [5] as an example)
* Some contributions in Epiphany, mainly the implementation a new ad blocker extension for Epiphany [6],
based in Adblock Plus rules (as Midori does), and some other contributions as demanded from my work in the
WebKit2GTK+ API (e.g. Port the WK's favicons API to WK2, see [7])
* Last, I've also contributed with some random patches in other projects, such as GTK+ [8] (not many nor very
important, though), giving a couple of talks on behalf of the WebKitGTK+ team in events such as FOSDEM [9]
and GUADEC [10], and hanging around in places such as IRC and the GNOME mailing lists.

Foundation Previous Participation:
I have been a proud member of the GNOME Foundation since January 2011, when I joined mostly because of my
contributions as part of my job at Igalia (accessibility, WebKitGTK+, libsoup), as well as because of other
work I also did in my spare time (Frogr).
Nowadays, I'm no longer working in Igalia (since October 2012), but still I would like to keep being part of
the Foundation during the next two years, as my plan is to keep contributing to the GNOME project as much as
possible (whenever time permits) in the future, not only by means of Frogr (my beloved pet project) but also
through other projects as well (e.g. WebKitGTK+), whenever possible.
Last, I'm specifying my msanchez gnome org in the "Email address" field of this application form just because
that's the one I'd like to have linked in http://www.gnome.org/foundation/membership (as it is now), but
please notice that the real personal email address that alias is pointing to is mariospr gmail com
Thanks,
Mario
