Re: [gnome.org #13819] Your GNOME Foundation Membership: we need some more information

Hi Fabiana,

Thanks for the quick replay, I am sorry I was totally sick and was under
rest and so couldn't replay to Emails :-(

I haven’t contributed to GNOME technically, but I was part of organizing
committee for GNOME Asia which happened in Bangalore, India.

_About me:_
I am from Computer Science background and doing my Masters in Computer
Science.

I am using GNOME DE for all my work from many years and always wanted to
contribute to the community but I was skeptical about my technical
expertise which stopped me from contributing/approaching for such a long
time. Now that I am confident enough to work and contribute to the
community.

_What I do:_
I work for SUSE and do QA for SUSE Linux.
I work on the latest hardware’s and make sure it (Linux) works on them.
Trouble shooting and fixing issues for the customers.
Open source evangelist - promoting and helping people to use/adopt FOSS.

_I like to/I can:_
Take up the testing/QA related tasks.
Translate (Kannada, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kannada_language)
Design

Kindly let me know if you need any other info..

Thanks,
Sridhar

Dear Sridhar,

Thank you for applying to become a member of the GNOME Foundation! In
order to process your application, we need a bit more information.

It would help us to process your membership application if you could
tell us a bit more about any recent contributions that you have made to
GNOME. Once you have provided this we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Best wishes,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee
