Foundation Previous Participation:
Hi, as you might have seen from the contributions list and maybe noticed during the last couple of years,
I've been AWOL from the GNOME community (and mostly from all free software related stuff) for some time now.
I feel really sad for this as I've been a GNOME user, contributor and active sustainer since a long time, and
foundation member since September 2008.
Unfortunately since last renewal I started working in a startup which completely absorbed my whole days and
didn't have much chance to contribute to GNOME. Not sure if it counts as a contribution (maybe spreading the
word), but it was a GNOME using product, called KeySecurePC.

Now, I feel sorry for this because I love our community and our project and I really believe it has given me
much both personally and professionally. It taught me almost everything I know about development and
community dynamics in the free software world, and most of all made me meet some good friends. I really think
two years is not nearly enough to forget all of of that.

I still believe I owe much to this project and I still have much to give back. I'd like to continue working
with you and it would be a shame to lose my foundation membership.
I can understand the rules though, so I'll be happy to reapply if you decide to not renew my membership, as I
plan to get up to speed with new developments pretty soon and see if I can be of any help again.
