Re: [gnome.org #12508] GNOME Membership Application of Yu Liansu

Besides what Marina said, Yu also helped a lot with Beijing GNOME Users
Group. She gave talks about GNOME WOP in Beijing Users Group monthly
meeting. She also helped to design posters for many GNOME actitivies.

I would like to see Yu join the GNOME foundation and continue support
GNOME.

Hi!

I highly recommend Yu Liansu for the GNOME Foundation membership! She
created a comprehensive GNOME Visual Identity portfolio, including a lot of
original art work, posters, brochures, presentation and web page templates
during her Outreach Program for Women internship. She has also been active
in her local community, promoting GNOME and the Outreach Program for Women.

Thanks,
Marina

Subject: [gnome.org #12508] GNOME Membership Application of Yu Liansu

Dear Andreas, Marinas and Emily,

The GNOME Membership Committee is about to process Yu Liansu's
application to become a GNOME Foundation Member and therefore we would
like to receive some feedback about the applicant and the GNOME-related
work. (past and present contributions are usually fine)

Please remember that vouching for a contributor means you really think
he/she deserves to be a Foundation Member and that you trust the
applicant and their work for the global GNOME community. If unsure about
vouching or not, please let us know why you don't feel enough
comfortable in advocating this applicant.

For further details about the applicant, feel free to have a look at the
applicant's application at the following link:

February/msg00040.html

At your service,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee
