Dear James,
Hi Fabiana, et al.,

Thank you for applying to become a member of the GNOME Foundation! In
order to process your application, we need a bit more information.
Thank you for getting back to me. I'd be happy to provide more info.

It would help us to process your membership application if you could
tell us a bit more about any recent contributions that you have made to
GNOME (maybe point us to some bugs or some of your blog posts).
My blog is located at: https://ttboj.wordpress.com/
Searching for gnome ( https://ttboj.wordpress.com/?s=gnome&submit=Search
) should give most of the posts, however I've linked you to a few hand
selected choices:

*
https://ttboj.wordpress.com/2012/11/03/changing-that-keyboard-shortcut-right-there-in-gnome/
*
https://ttboj.wordpress.com/2012/07/05/gnome3others-glipperklipper-replacement/
*
https://ttboj.wordpress.com/2010/03/09/getting-gedit-to-work-like-magic/

As requested, here is some bug related noise I've been involved in:
* https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=590642
* https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=583268
* https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=681561

There are more blog posts and bug reports if you'd like me to link you
to more.

In addition, I do (and have done) quite a lot of work setting up and
engineering automatic deployments of gnome environments. So far in:
schools, research hospitals, and businesses. I'll be publishing some new
code relating to this (and writing about it on my blog) in the next
coming months. My interest in gnome is primarily as a user, and also as
a sysadmin who supports this environment for my users.

I have some old work that I did for gnome environments here:
http://cs.mcgill.ca/~james/code/evanescent/en-screenshots.php?lang=en
I have some newer code that I wrote for the gluster community here:
https://github.com/purpleidea/puppet-gluster
and there's lots more coming soon.

 Once you
have provided this we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Thank you for your time! Please let me know if you need me to elaborate
or give more references.
Sincerely,
James

Best wishes,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee
