Re: [gnome.org #12174] GNOME Membership Application of Charles BinLi

I know Bin Li since 2010, he works for Novell on GNOME projects in Beijing.
Since we both live in Beijing, China, He deeply involved in Beijing GNOME
Users Group activities.

His contribution to Beijing GNOME community includes:
1. Give technical talks in Beijing GNOME Users Group monthly meeting;
2. Help to organize the GNOME 3 Launch Party in Beijing
3. Give technical speech about GNOME 3 new features in GNOME 3 Launch Party
4. Help to distribute 2000 GNOME 3 DVDs to whole China, the budget is
applied from Novell with help of Bin.
5. Organize GNOME 3 install-fest in Novell office and work as technical
support during the install-fest
6. Currently he is planning for the SFD, he will be one of the speaker to
talk about GNOME in SFD.

Bin Li is very active and enthusiastic about GNOME, he contribute to GNOME a
lot. I think he will play more roles once join the GNOME as Foundation
member.

Thanks,
Emily

Dear Emily, Scott and Frederic,

The GNOME Membership Committee is about to process Charles BinLi's
application to become a GNOME Foundation Member and therefore we would
like to receive some feedback about the applicant and the GNOME-related
work. (past and present contributions are usually fine)

Please remember that vouching for a contributor means you really think
he/she deserves to be a Foundation Member and that you trust the
applicant and their work for the global GNOME community. If unsure about
vouching or not, please let us know why you don't feel enough
comfortable in advocating this applicant.

For further details about the applicant, feel free to have a look at the
applicant's application at the following link:

At your service,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee
