Re: [gnome.org #12277] GNOME Membership Application of David Nielsen

Dear Membership Committee,

Although he has contributed a dozen small patches over the last 16
months, David is not your usual code contributor.
He's been really helpful as part of the Banshee community : answering
questions from users, nudging those who needed to be so that they file
bugs, writing documentation for this, motivating other contributors to
tackle important issues and helping coordinating their work.
I also think his work on the OMG! Ubuntu! website
(http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/) has increased the visibility of the
Banshee project.

So I fully support David's application to become a GNOME Foundation Member.

And somebody who uses "gnomeuser" as a nick and in his e-mail address
really should be in the Foundation ;)

Dear Bertrand and AndrÃs,

The GNOME Membership Committee is about to process David Nielsen's
application to become a GNOME Foundation Member and therefore we would
like to receive some feedback about the applicant and the GNOME-related
work. (past and present contributions are usually fine)

Please remember that vouching for a contributor means you really think
he/she deserves to be a Foundation Member and that you trust the
applicant and their work for the global GNOME community. If unsure about
vouching or not, please let us know why you don't feel enough
comfortable in advocating this applicant.

For further details about the applicant, feel free to have a look at the
applicant's application at the following link:

At your service,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee
