Summary:
I was one of the primary developers of the GNOME Stock Ticker (gtik), which was included in gnome-applets for 
several years.  I also led the development of Gnomoradio, which although never an official part of GNOME, is 
a music player that encourages the sharing of music under a Creative Commons license.
