Re: [gnome.org #11193] GNOME Membership Application of Adel Gadllah

 Hi,

this is the first time I'm ask to vouch for an applicant, so I'm a bit
unsure how verbose this response is expected to be - don't hesitate to come
back to me if I got it wrong ...

Adel has been contributing steadily for quite a while to GNOME Shell and
related modules - in fact, I think few people will object to including him
in the list of core developers of the project. He most definitively has my
full support with his application to become a foundation member.

For further details about the applicant, feel free to have a look at
his
application at the following link:

His list of contributions is certainly correct, but incomplete. I'd
like to add a recent patch[0] which implements DND to the overview,
involving quite a bit of X11 trickery - most certainly a "non-trivial
contribution", which alone should probably make him applicable for
membership.

Regards,
Florian
