Summary:
I am acting as a GNOME ambassador now for quite a while. As part of the Fedora community I am actively
participating at several events promoting GNOME (on Fedora in my case, but not limited to). Last year I have
also organized a big open source event in Switzerland called FrOSCamp together with the FUDCon Europe (Fedora
users and developers conference).
I have been organizing several release events and am trying to set up a GNOME community in Switzerland.
Besides that I am actively taking part in the GNOME development since GNOME shell has been started. As I am
no coder, my work is limited on reporting bugs, trying to improve documentation, and of course promoting
GNOME in general.
In the future I would like to help improving the ambassadors/marketing program where I can profit from my
knowledge as being a Fedora ambassador, too. As a member I would like to help representing the 'non-coders'
part of the project.

---------------
I haven't contacted Owen and Matthias, yet that I am applying for membership, but they should know my
contributions from the Fedora project
