Summary:
Maintainer and lead author of java-gnome, the Java language bindings for GTK and the GNOME platform.

Detailed description:
Been using GNOME since 1999. Joined GNOME community circa 2002. 

Inherited maintainership of java-gnome 2.x when previous team retired, 2005. Initiated reengineering and 
rewrite of bindings 2006, and have since been both primary author and mainatainer of java-gnome 4.0, now at 
version 4.0.11 with some 30 contributors and over 73 kloc.

Present regularly on GTK and GNOME at open source conferences and am of course a general participant in the 
usual online communities (#gnome-hackers, et al).
