Dear Sandy and Gabriel,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee needs more information to
process the application of Alex Launi. Since [he/she] has listed
you as the primary contact, the committee would like you to list the
contributions that Alex Launi has made for the GNOME community in
recent times. Your input will be greatly appreciated to help us to make
a fair and informed decision in the granting or denying the applicant as
a foundation member.

At your service,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee

Alex is an active member of the GNOME community. ÂBesides the typical stuff
like filing bugs, helping users in IRC, etc, he has provided patches to
several projects, including Banshee and Tasque. ÂFor Tasque, he greatly
expanded our DBus interface to make it much more usable by applications like
GNOME Do. ÂHis greatest contribution to the GNOME community is the work he
does on GNOME Do, which is an extremely popular and useful app for which he
is one of the lead developers. ÂAlthough Do is not hosted on GNOME's
infrastructure, it is widely used and loved in the GNOME community, and Alex
and the rest of the team work with upstream projects and various
distributions to guarantee the quality of their project.

I would happily recommend Alex Launi for membership in the GNOME foundation.

Thanks,
Sandy
