Dear Petr Kovar,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee needs more information to
process the application of Jiri Eischmann. Since [he/she] has listed
you as the primary contact, the committee would like you to list the
contributions that Jiri Eischmann has made for the GNOME community in
recent times. Your input will be greatly appreciated to help us to make
a fair and informed decision in the granting or denying the applicant as
a foundation member.

Since spring 2008, Jiri has been hugely involved in GNOME Czech localization
effort. He has been taking care of translation of evolution and its
modules suite, including evolution manual, gedit, gok, gconf and some other
GNOME software.

He has been also active in open source journalism, writing articles on
topics like the new GNOME releases, GNOME desktop, GTK+ apps etc., for Czech
technical sites. From my perspective, he deserves to be a member of the
GNOME Foundation.

Best regards,
Petr Kovar
