Dear John, Sanford and Ken:

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee needs more information to
process the application of John Carr. Since [he/she] has listed
you as the primary contact, the committee would like you to list the
contributions that John Carr has made for the GNOME community in
recent times. Your input will be greatly appreciated to help us to make
a fair and informed decision in the granting or denying the applicant as
 a foundation member.

I know John Carr has been very involved in the Conduit project, which
is proposed for inclusion in GNOME 2.24, but I am not aware of
specifics.

For Tomboy, John has fixed a few bugs and greatly enhanced our D-BUS
interface. He regularly comments helpfully on bugs and assists users
in our IRC channel. He has helped me troubleshoot many problems.
John is a valuable and trusted member of the Tomboy community, and
should definitely be a GNOME Foundation member.

Thanks,
Sandy
