Detailed description:
I have 6 years of experience developing open source software for GNOME. I am the maintainer of GNOME Power 
Manager and author of the freedesktop session power management specification. I am contributor to HAL, and 
have done much work with the hal-info quirk database, pm-utils and changing kernel drivers to use this new 
framework - so power management and keyboard keys "just work" on the GNOME desktop.

I am also developing gnome-packagekit, a GNOME client to PackageKit. I've fixed more bugs in bugzilla than 
I've eaten hot meals, and am active on #gnome-hackers IRC pretty much every day.
