Over the last few months Gabriel has made some very important
contributions to Banshee and I find myself working fairly closely with
him lately. 

His largest and most important contributions to Banshee include USB mass
storage digital audio player support and a smart playlist plugin. He has
also committed a number of patches to Banshee in GNOME CVS and is very
helpful in handling bug reports in GNOME Bugzilla. Gabriel has also
helped develop a new portable_audio_player specification for HAL which
was necessary to enable proper mass storage support in Banshee.

Additionally, he is very active in the F-Spot project to which he has
made a number of contributions. I'm sure Larry can comment in more
detail here.

In short, I fully support his membership request.
