Detailed description:
I've been a GNOME translator for several years now, and I'm one of the "sub-coordinators" of the Brazilian 
Portuguese team (that means I help commiting translations to GNOME's CVS, among other things). You can verify 
my contributions by checking the logs for my CVS account, and the credits in several modules that are part of 
GNOME's platform and desktop. 
Searching for files named pt_BR.po containing my name in the GNOME 2.15.90 jhbuild release returned 42 
results.
