Re: GNOME Foundation Membership Application of Matthias Clasen

I agree with Vincent. It's really important to take the decision together.

OK, I'm going to accept the application of Matthias.

No objections ?

contributions that Mathias has made for the GNOME community in
recent times. Your input will be greatly appreciated to help us to make
a fair and informed decision in the granting or denying the applicant as

Additionally, there is no question in my mind that Matthias is eligible
for a GNOME Foundation membership account. He is one of the
co-maintainers of GTK+, and has been for a while now.

I agree Matthias should be accepted and we don't need any more
precisions. But I do think it's a good thing to ask people what they
think before accepting the applications : this is a good way to remind
them the committee is active and that we're available if there's any
problem.

This way, we don't look like a black box where decisions are taken but
nobody knows how.
