Detailed description:
Spent a great deal of effort on metacity and related projects; recent efforts include:
writing the EWMH extension, metacity, and gnome-panel patches to support partial-width panel struts, fixing 
one of the most-reported bugs for gnome xinerama
Completely rewriting window placement for metacity to provide extremely robust xinerama support and to use a 
novel window placement scheme

Also a great deal of bug fixing effort.
