Confirmation for Jim Gettys' candidacy

Dear board,

It seems Jim tried to reapply for membership two weeks ago, but the
membership form was not received for some reason and thus, the
membership committee did not renew his membership. For this reason, as
of November 1st, Jim was not a member of the GNOME Foundation. So, in
theory, he can not run for elections.

However, considering the fact that the problem comes from a technical
problem and considering that Jim reapplied for membership today (and was
approved), the committee would like to accept Jim's candidacy.

The committee would like the board to confirm that Jim Gettys' candidacy
for the elections can be accepted.

Please note that we would appreciate a quick answer as the official list
of candidates has to be announced tomorrow.
