Damn, this is seriously god sent! This is genius way of implementing, now i can add my own regex to filter.
It just got interesting. How did this "Text Filters" not a sub-category drop down under "Filter" drop down??
Why make it hidden in preference.
a better MO for this (better because it's available right now) would be to either (or both)
1) change your filters to ignore white-space, thus they don't show as differences to begin with
2) close the containing sub-folder once you've "resolved" the differences in that folder
Hi all,
I was thinking a feature that is probably missing within Meld.
I am not sure if anyone have actually thought of it,
but 1 feature seems to be missed is capability to "mark file as same" despite their differences.
The main usage for this is especially when a directory compare is done,
some files are actually similar but due to perhaps line spacing or new lines,
they are deemed different.
It would be great if anyone can add this feature in.
