I would be interested to contribute here. I don’t know python programming
but I have good experience in Devops overall, so I feel it should be
manageable.
Please let me know how I could get started here if this is still an open
point.
The current "Update Windows binaries" mailing list thread is a good
starting point. The current challenge is that we're looking to build
under MSYS2 instead of our previous build step, which used packaged
libraries from a third-party project. There's been some work on
getting that to work using Appveyor, but unfortunately I don't think
we have a single place where progress is being recorded.
