MELD Command Line Interface and Text Log

Hello,

i need a programm for a school project that tells me
if 2 files contain the same information and when yes where.

Meld shows me that graphically.
But can i use meld without the graphical interface and
pipe the result in a txt file?

Or should i use an other Programm for this Problem ?
