Hey. Yeah this is sadly a feature that we're missing; see bug 362233
(https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362233). I think there's
definitely good use cases for being able to add sync points in files,
and it would be great to have this in Meld.
Unfortunately I have a ludicrously long to-do list for Meld, and this
isn't that close to the top... if someone else wants to take up the
challenge, I'll very happily provide whatever help/guidance I can.
There are a couple of different approaches that might work, each with
their own particular issues.
