Nice. However, I think we should be gearing up for a release (more on
this soon), and while the patch looks good to me, I'm hesitant to push
it just before releasing. I'm keen for it to go in as soon as the
release is tagged though.

Also, additional testing of the other windows-related bugs and patches
in bugzilla is always appreciated.
