OK, that looks like a proper superset of cvs/svn file states so we can
go with that interface.
I'll try to put together a cvs reference implementation + (common) view.

PS. I'm going to prune the cc list to the sender and meld-list. The
archive is at mailgnome.org and hopefully soon to be at gmane.org too.
