I need a quick file sort like Irfanview

I've used midnight commander for years and

I remember the Irfanview freeware had a quick menu to sort the current file.

it looked like this:

If you wanted to move the current file, you could sort it with two
keys, you press the menu key, and then a number from 1 to 0 to pick
the destination.

Can mc help me with this?  What's a good way to do this when I'm using mc?
