mcedit: middle mouse click paste

Hi, pasting into mc's editor mcedit from X clipboard is done via
[shift] + middle_click. However, in case of enabled Sticky Keys in X
that starts marking text in mcedit, because of the [shift] key is
not disabled by a mouse click.

Can the middle click pasting be configured the standard way again?
