Re: nlink

Hello Andrew,

(1) A freshly created regular file has an nlink of 1 in MC.

(2) A freshly created subdir has an nlink of 2 in MC.

(3) If you create a subdir in a directory, the nlink of the directory goes up by 1 in MC.

Error on my part: a symlink does not affect nlink in MC, nlink only reports hard links.

Regards

frank
