search selections selectively remembered

Is it possible to make recent versions remember for find file that case 
sensitive and search for content were deselected, and have them deselected 
for subsequent finds following subsequent opens? The case now is first search 
after open always selects case sensitive and search for content (unless 
broken but, fixed in 3.8.10, which I've yet to see).
