Greetings!

GNU Midnight Commander 4.6.2 running on OpenSuse 11.3.
When I edit a file with mcedit, via "F4" in MC, the screen does not
clear properly.  I usually end up exiting mc and calling the editor
from the command line.  "mcedit filename.txt"

I use xterm as my terminal emulator.
> echo $TERM
xterm

Any help (including pointing me at the proper docs) is greatly appreciated.
