Hi,
This is just a suggestion. I'm using Ubuntu (10.04) and I noticed that
entering zip files got disabled some time ago.
It is not disabled. You have to install "zip" and "unzip" which are in
"non-free" in debian. it works automaticaly.
This is not totally correct. There was a bug in Debian that somehow
prevented the build tools to set HAVE_UNZIP to 1 even if it was
installed, for which reason we had an ugly patch, which apparently now
is not getting applied, as the location of the file has changed.
I will update the package ASAP.
By the way, Michelle, could you please have a look at your bugs at
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?repeatmerged=no&src=mc
There are some mysterious reports which I am very much tempted to close,
because apparently you had some private discussions with Patrick and
didn't include any details in the report a normal person would be able
to make any sense of.
I wrote you an email, but never got a reply.
