But this results in MC being smaller than the term window.
I can adjust mc's size by resizing the window... but is there
an easy way around this and keep MC big enough to
handle.
Screenshot?
Not necessary now:) Since I upgraded MC to the version in
Debian Sid ( I'm running testing) the problem has gone away.
frank squeeze:~$ mc -V
GNU Midnight Commander 4.7.0.1
Virtual File System: tarfs, extfs, cpiofs, ftpfs, fish
With builtin Editor
Using system-installed S-Lang library with terminfo database
With subshell support as default
With support for background operations
With mouse support on xterm and Linux console
With internationalization support
With multiple codepages support
Data types: char 8 int 32 long 32 void * 32 off_t 64 ecs_char 8
I also discovered through my friend Google how to make MC
transparent. Never knew that was possible! Works even
with Openbox which on my machine normally doesn't do transparency.
Thanks
