Because gmail is problematic to 'initiate a new topic',
Industry-strength BS.
Add MC mailing list to your contact, and you will be able to start new topic with one click. And you will be
able to enter meaningful subject as a bonus.
Your ignoring of the netiquette rules is not going to win you many friends with developers overloaded with
other info.
