sendmail works - I see much root mail (and other mail).
this is a bit OT, but: a) are you trying to send mail to a local user? b) if not, is a smarthost set? c) are there any error-msgs? 1) open a terminal to have a look at the log of your MTA. e.g. for exim4 i'll type: "tail -f /var/log/exim4/mainlog" 2) try the following: (you can send a testmail to redtux redtux org if you want; or send it to your proper webmail-account or whatever. at least redtux localhost should be replaced by your proper user, of course.) redtux viktringix:~$ mail -s testing mail-command redtux localhost i'm testing the mail-command of mailx. does the local delivery work?
