Ok. To help us understand what's wrong please follow
the instructions below:

1) Open a fresh terminal window (konsole)

2) Type "echo -e "\0033[?1001s"

3) Type "echo -e "\0033[?1000h"

4) Type "script"

5) Click the mouse button several times

6) Quit the script session and mail its output to
the mailing list.
