Hello,
if there is anyone running Total Commander on Windows, I wonder if you
know of a way to mimic that programs functionality when diffing
directories in mc?
Essentially, before diffing, you can choose between
recursive (sub-directories)
compare files by content
ignore date
After the diff is made you get the result very nicely presented with
four choices of what to view
duplicate files
files which differs
files only present in left directory
files only present in right directory
among a lot of other stuff like choosing a file which diffs, you get two
windows with the differences colorized, or if you want to replace a
particular file, you can just select that before "synchronizing".
