Help to get to a new stage

Hi yall,

Looked at the doc and googled a little but can't find:
- extensions (repository) for mc. Only found one for CD burning, but nothing's 
told on how to install it. Btw, is there some kind of tutorial/doc on how to 
create extensions ?
- how can I customize customize contextual actions, meaning, change default 
settings for viewing pdfs, images...
