Andrew, Pavel,
there are lot of configuration, installation, etc.
confuses which belong to the use of shared glib.
Is it possible to create a way, when user just need
to define path to libglib.a and don't worry about glib
any more? I believe it will be big improvement in
the installation procedure.
Sincerely,
Alex

mc and man2hlp use shared glib library, so this library must be
present
in your system (locate libglib-2.0.so can help) and also directory
where
this shared library is located must be in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH
environment variable or in the /etc/ld.so.conf. If you preffer
second
way and there was no such directory in your /etc/ld.so.conf, you
should
run ldconfig after adding this one.
In common case this library should be in /usr/lib, so you don't need
this moves.
