Hi. I can reproduce it using the following:
$ cd /home/pervalidus/tmp
$ mkdir objdir (or F7)
$ cd objdir
$ lndir /usr/src/linux-2.4.17 (after make mrproper)
Now, when I try to remove objdir/ from tmp/ with F8:
Delete: /home/pervalidus/tmp/objdir
Directory not empty.
Delete it recursively?
[ Yes ] [ No ] [ all ] [ nonE ] [ Abort ]
I choose "all" and:
Error
Cannot remove directory "/home/pervalidu~/drivers/video"
Directory not empty (39)
[ Skip ] [ Retry ] [ Abort ]
I choose "Retry". Nothing happens. I choose "Skip" and am
back to mc.
I repeat the process.
Cannot remove directory "/home/pervalidu~/drivers/sound"
And so on. I'm able to remove if after a few retries.
rm -rf works. Midnight Commander worked on ext3.
I'm using CVS 20011028 (almost 2 months ago) configured with
--libdir=/usr/local/share --disable-dependency-tracking
--disable-nls --disable-glibtest --enable-charset
--without-samba --without-gpm-mouse --with-netrc
--without-ext2undel
Please let me know if you can reproduce it or anything I can
do to help.
