Re: change default configuration



I fought against it for quite some time, but, in the end, this was not a fight that I could win. Debian 
Policy says it should be this way, thus so it is, and so it will be :-/

I fully agree, and recommend to change the default to mcedit.

AFAICT, external is a misfeature of .deb mc packages, one of the most annoying
things about using Knoppix (pause after run off in mc being the other). Fedora
and openSUSE rpms AFAICR are always mcedit.
